Since his elevation, Pope Francis has not been heard to chant the liturgy. There have been various guesses as to why, including the joking suggestion that it is because Jesuits can't sing.
Well, not all Jesuits.
But in fact, it turns out that the pope is tone-deaf.
This gives poor Father A. some hope. His liturgies may not be celebrated with as much elegance as he would like, but he can at least be comforted by knowing that they sound like the pope's.
