As in, it's one more thing people look for online.
Still, it seems to surprise the QUT team a little bit, perhaps because they are laboring under the impression that we religious types are too busy banning books and blowing up buildings to master the intricacies of a keyboard. Seriously! According to the Science Daily article:
[The researchers] found that the results dispelled the stereotype that religious people are not as accustomed to technology as non-religious people.
"Our results showed that people searching for these religious topics were just as tactically skilled as the general Web population," said Jansen. "This actually fits well with the historical use of technology by religious groups and organizations."
Far from being insulted, we at the Egg are delighted to be just as tactically skilled as the general population. But pardon us if we don't post for a while. The landlord just replaced our brazier with a hypocaust, and instead of writing the instructions on a nice old-fashioned scroll, he put them in something called a "codex." It may take us a while to figure out how to find the information.
